Food was lovely, kitchen clean and service good, but it feels like God's waiting room. I'm in my 50s yet felt out of place as full of pensioners in their 80s. I do get it's an old building and full of character, but it was cold, chairs are old and hard, china cracked, teapot chipped and leaked and with the waitress stood at the till just watching, you didn't feel you could talk. Quaint and clean, but just felt odd.

I arrived it was very busy. The owner asked a young lad if he minded sharing a table. It was great to meet so many friendly people in the cafe. Great cappuccino n cakes too
I came here with my dog for breakfast and we were welcomed by the lovely Sue. The breakfast is delicious, locally sourced which you can taste. The coffee Sue makes is second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for her.If you are looking for a local, friendly cafe then give this place a try.Will definitely be coming back regularly.
