Lovely food in very pleasant surroundings.Such a pity that the food wasn't piping hot.Very reasonable prices.

Coldest day so far and what a welcome the open fire was!!! Chicken & mushroom pie, massive and very tasty!! Warm winter salad and halloumi fabulous. A lovely cuppa and a brandy coffee, served by very friendly, professional staff. All round a Bob on job, we'll be back!
use to be a nice place.. not much Christmas spirit...No crackers No kids selection.. Food it was ok.. waitress really nice
I brought my friend here for a treat because you can't fail to be impressed. It's not expensive. The layout is so nice with the nooks and crannies and creates a more cosy atmosphere. However in reality, it's a really big restaurant. The menu choice is extensive. We had two courses off the lunchtime menu. Two course meal with a soft drink for two ladies for 28 total. That was a bargain. And not forgetting the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. But why I can never get French Mustard anywhere is beyond me. Perhaps I need to carry it in my handbag.
